Engaging Fans, One Post at a Time

The creation and execution of the new Porsche Motorsport Instagram channel transformed the existing Porsche Formula E account into a dynamic hub for motorsport enthusiasts.

This project included developing the strategy, designing a fresh look and feel, creating race coverage templates, and producing interactive content. The work also involved collaborating with drivers, markets, sponsors, and the motorsport community to deliver workshops, one-on-one projects, and engaging campaigns that showcased Porsche Motorsport’s racing story across social media.

Digital Look & Feel

This included translating Porsche’s creative identity into an online format across all social communication platforms, as well as the new website hub. We also developed app-friendly templates for onsite content creation, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for fans, the community, and drivers.

All stages of race and event communication were planned and executed, including pre-race planning, collaboration with sponsors and markets for content creation, media planning, and onsite production.

Constant community engagement during events helped contribute to the success of the content and detailed reports with key metrics ensured learnings for future races and events. This approach extended to special events and launches, both onsite and remotely, ensuring consistent messaging.

Content Calendars
and Collaborations

Monthly content strategies and calendars were developed in collaboration with the community and creators to plan, produce, and execute engaging content. This included creating captions, selecting hashtags, managing tagging, and coordinating collaborations to expand the channel’s reach. Monthly reports with key insights and learnings were delivered to inform and optimize future content strategies.

Community and
Channel Management

Effective social media and community management drove the channel’s success, featuring creators to amplify engagement, finalizing and fact-checking content for accuracy, and upskilling team members to ensure seamless execution. Direct engagement with fans through comments and DMs provided valuable audience insights, shaping future content strategies and strengthening the connection with the community.

Social Media Workshops

Annual workshops for each racing series and multiple sessions for drivers, teams, and sponsors were held. Each workshop included a full competitor analysis, channel and follower insights, and a detailed 12-month strategy and rollout plan with highlight moments tailored to markets and events.

My role in this project:

  • Strategy: Developing the social media strategy, managing audience engagement, content planning, and collaborating with media partners to boost reach.

  • Art Direction: Collaborating with designers and art directors to shape the new look and feel, race coverage templates, and interactive content.

  • Workshops and Collaboration: Leading workshops for drivers, partnering with sponsors, artists, and influencers, and managing one-on-one driver projects.

  • Community Engagement: Overseeing fan interactions, community management, UGCs, and leading a team of social media managers.

  • Content Creation: Producing onsite content at race tracks, working with teams, artists, and drivers to create unique and engaging assets.
